Support to CSO’s and media for EU integration projects

Through the “Nordic Support for progress of North Macedonia” project, the Kingdom of Sweden has allocated 520,000 Euros to support civil society organizations and media with the objective to empower their active participation and engagement in pursuing activities considered to be in the broad public interest and in support of the country’s EU accession process.

This public call for proposals aims to contribute to increased initiatives of CSOs and media to monitor, advocate and participate in processes associated with implementation of key reforms related to the EU accession process, ensuring good quality comprehensive legislation and the development of sustainable policies that benefit the citizens. The projects should also contribute to increased awareness of the general public of the EU accession process and promotion of the benefits of EU membership.

Registered CSO’s and media are eligible to apply for grants up to €33,000 under LOT 1 supporting CSO’s; and grants up to €80,000 under LOT 2 supporting media for projects with a period of implementation between eight to twelve months. The detailed criteria and supporting documentation to be submitted are available at https://nordiskapoddrska.org.mk/ktext/povik-za-dodeluvanje-na-grantovi-za-gra-anski-organizacii-i-mediumi
